AINA (1977) is celebrated as arguably the biggest blockbuster of them all in Pakistan Cinema History with a run in Karachi in cinemas for 6 years.  It was released just months before the arrival of the Zia Ul Haq regime which was to add a telling twist to the Pakistani experience.
